Kawasaki city

Kawasaki is a city in Japan, located south of the main island of Honshu, and overlooking Tokyo Bay. Follow administratively Kanagawa province, located between the provinces of Tokyo and Yokohama. A population of approximately 1,385,003 people (2008).
The city is located in the center of a region with a dense urban fabric, where the wearing of a major economic center in the urban Kiyean pool. Of the most important industries: iron and steel, shipbuilding, construction, mechanical, chemical and oil refining. The city is famous for its important Buddhist monuments, including Hiegn or Hiegn-G Temple, which was built in the early 12th century.
Kawasaki came under heavy bombing during the Second World War, most were rebuilt after the war ended.
